What is roof preservation?
Roof preservation is a treatment option for an asphalt-shingle roof that is still serviceable. It is intended to help the treated shingle surface resist water, UV, and environmental wear. It does not repair a failed roof.
How do I know whether my roof qualifies?
Qualification depends on condition—not age alone. MoroVia begins with a limited, non-destructive assessment of accessible visible areas and considers roof history, repairs, access, compatibility, warranty information, and prior treatments before recommending a route.
Is this the same as replacing a roof?
No. Preservation is intended to protect serviceable roofing material. It does not replace shingles, decking, flashing, or the complete roof system, and it is not a substitute when repair or replacement is required.
Can every roof be treated?
No. Some roofs need repair or professional evaluation first, some require product or warranty verification, and some are not appropriate preservation candidates. MoroVia will not recommend treatment simply because a roof is older.
What happens during the assessment?
With permission, MoroVia reviews relevant history, walks the accessible exterior, takes condition photos, and begins from the ground. If a closer view would materially help, separate permission and applicable safety checks come first. The assessment is limited to accessible visible areas and is not a full roof inspection or remaining-life estimate.
How long does treatment take?
Application timing depends on roof size, access, preparation, weather, and the current product instructions. MoroVia provides a job-specific schedule only after the roof qualifies and the treatment scope is confirmed. Application time and final cure time are not the same.
Do I need to be home?
The property owner or an authorized party must grant permission for the assessment. Before any appointment, MoroVia confirms access, communication, required decision-makers, and whether someone needs to remain at the property.
How is pricing determined?
Pricing is based on the verified treatment scope, including roof size, condition, accessibility, preparation, and treatment requirements. MoroVia does not publish an internal discount ladder or provide a treatment price before the required assessment and measurement are complete.
What if my shingles are still under warranty?
That should be identified before treatment is recommended. The actual shingle manufacturer, product, warranty, and current written guidance control; MoroVia does not promise that treatment will have no effect on an existing warranty.
